Urolix Tornel 10ml

Due to its diuretic properties, this drug is indicated in the treatment of edema in cattle, horses, pigs, dogs and cats. To reduce edema caused by kidney, liver, heart or burn conditions. To stimulate diuresis. To increase the excretion of sodium, potassium and chlorine ions. To produce forced diuresis in the treatment of poisonings. To prevent epistaxis (bleeding horses) in racehorses.

Urolix USE IN:
Cattle, horses, pigs, canines, felines.

DOSE:
CATTLE AND HORSES: 0.5 to 1 mg / kg (0.5 to 1 ml / 50 kg of body weight) intravenously or intramuscularly every 8 to 12 hours. In horses the dose can be effectively increased to 6 mg / kg. SWINE: 1 ml for every 20 kg of body weight (2.5 mg / kg). CANINE: 2 to 4 mg / kg intravenously or intramuscularly (0.25 to 0.5 ml / 5 kg of body weight). FELINES: 0.5 to 1 mg / kg (0.1 ml / 5 kg of body weight) by intramuscular or intravenous route. The dose can be effectively increased to 10 mg / kg (1 ml / 5 kg of body weight).
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Intramuscular or intravenous.

FORMULA:
Each mL contains:
4-chloro-N (2-furyl-methyl) -5 sulfamoyl anthranilic acid (furosemide) 50 mg
Diethanolamine 1,582 mg
Sodium chloride 2 mg
Injectable grade water, c.b.p. 1 mL.
